soup reciepe

Some helpful hints.

Water--I heard something about water the other day. They said that the more water you drink the better. Not only does it flush out the system but your body isn't sure where what to do with the water so it actually burns calories.

As you probably read in one of my last blogs I have joined weight watchers. They gave me this book that have some amazing sounding recipes for low calorie foods that are filling. One of them is

Garden Vegetable Soup (there is the recipe if you wanna try this delicious soup)

2/3 cup sliced carrot
1/2 cup diced onion
2 minced garlic cloves
3 cups fat-free broth (beef, chicken or vegetable)
1 1/2 cups diced green cabbage
1/2 cup green beans
1 Tbsp tomato paste
1/2 tsp dried basil
1/4 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup diced zucchini

Spray a large saucepan with nonstick cooking spray, heat. Saute the carrot, onion, and garlic over low heat until softened, about 5 minutes. Add broth, cabbage beans, tomato paste, basil oregano, and salt; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, covered, about 15 minutes or until beans are tender. Stir in the zucchini and heat for 3-4 minutes. Serve hot.

**This soup is low cal, full of veggies and yummy. Makes great lunch or dinner. Gonna make today for lunch.

Got more recipes where they came from.

  1. That recipe sounds really good. I think I might try it and add a bunch of cilantro.
