Only lost 0.8lbs for a total of 12.2

So, I only lost 0.8 pounds. :( However, I had a bad week and thought that I was going to gain, so a loss, even a little loss is ok with me. I was feeling bummed about it though. When I got to work, two of the girls said that they could tell that I was losing weight. It was sweet.

I had a lot more to talk about and about how I am being totally open about this diet...but I closed tonight and I have to be at work at 7am...and I'm tired...so maybe I will bore you all with that on my next entry.

2.2 for a total of 11.4

Its been kind of a crazy couple of weeks. With all the wedding planning that has been put into overdrive, its been hard to make sure that I make the right foods. However, I have been trying to make better choices. Let me tell you, El Pollo Loco has some AWESOME grilled chicken. Its so yummy and a much much better choice than lots of other foods.

Observation...I was getting bad headaches almost daily. To the point I was takin a min of 3 excedrine EVERY single day. I was gettin super worried. However, we started this contest and a week later I joined weight watchers. I started eating lots and lots of vegetables, and turkey, fruit and healthy foods...I have stayed away from grezzey fast food...and guess what? Other than a stress related headache the other day, I havent had one headache! Can you believe that? I really think it has something to do with the stuff that might be in fast food.

Even though the weight loss is small amounts weekly, I actually feel healthier and better and I am making a challenge/promise to keep eating like this and not going back to the eatin fast food life style. Now if I could just get the daily excerise on the schedule :)

Wedding OVERLOAD!!!!

So, for those of you who don't know...my baby sister got engaged a couple of weeks ago during the fireworks at Disneyland. So for the last few weeks it has been nothing but wedding wedding wedding. I honestly don't mind, I actually enjoy it. But I have been opening which I love, however it is harder getting up that early to keep on the right eating track. After work then I would be working on Wedding stuff and I would forget to eat until I was starving and wanting to eat horrible stuff. Ugh!

3.8 for a total of 9.2

This last week I lost 3.8 pounds for a total of 9.2. Im a little bummed because I was really hoping for a 5 lb week, but I'll take the 3.8 :) I have been opening quite a few times this week and its hard, because it throws off my eating schedule. However, I went to the store today after work and bought what I need to keep me going good.

Im gonna do this for the long haul...sometimes it sucks, but I WILL get past the 10 lb mark and then make it even further.

With my sisters wedding in June fast approaching, I need to keep on track and see if I can lose as much weight as possible.

Ugh, Im so tired...and I opening again tomorrow...bed time. More to come later.

5.4 pounds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had my WW meeting today and I lost 5.4 pounds. I'm so excited. Earlier today I was allowing my self to think negative thoughts...thoughts like....is all this work really working? Did I really lose anything? Should I even try to win this challenge or the ultimate goal? But then I see my results and now I know. It has been working and I am even more fired up than ever. I am bound and determined to see that number as many weeks as humanly possible. And I did eatin CHEEZE :)

soup reciepe

Some helpful hints.

Water--I heard something about water the other day. They said that the more water you drink the better. Not only does it flush out the system but your body isn't sure where what to do with the water so it actually burns calories.

As you probably read in one of my last blogs I have joined weight watchers. They gave me this book that have some amazing sounding recipes for low calorie foods that are filling. One of them is

Garden Vegetable Soup (there is the recipe if you wanna try this delicious soup)

2/3 cup sliced carrot
1/2 cup diced onion
2 minced garlic cloves
3 cups fat-free broth (beef, chicken or vegetable)
1 1/2 cups diced green cabbage
1/2 cup green beans
1 Tbsp tomato paste
1/2 tsp dried basil
1/4 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup diced zucchini

Spray a large saucepan with nonstick cooking spray, heat. Saute the carrot, onion, and garlic over low heat until softened, about 5 minutes. Add broth, cabbage beans, tomato paste, basil oregano, and salt; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, covered, about 15 minutes or until beans are tender. Stir in the zucchini and heat for 3-4 minutes. Serve hot.

**This soup is low cal, full of veggies and yummy. Makes great lunch or dinner. Gonna make today for lunch.

Got more recipes where they came from.

"Eeeville" lurking in the case!

It started like any other day. As soon as I walked, I could feel the forces tugging on me. I knew that there was eeevville lurking in the case. I tried to ignore it, but oh it so was so so so hard. Standing there, thats when i heard it in a low erie wisper "Diiiiiiaaaannnnnaaa!" "Eat me!" Couldn't look at the shelf it was on, cuz it was sitting there taunting and looking yummy. Im weak and it was too powerful...I ate the marble loaf :(
